This photo was taken from just off the Icefields Parkway. The Endless Chain Ridge is a 16 kilometer long, 2,867-metre (9,406-foot) high, mountainous ridge located in Jasper National Park and is situated at the southern end of the Maligne Range of the Canadian Rockies. We stopped at the Beauty Creek Wilderness Hostel to get access to the reflecting pool just north of the hostel that is formed by the Sunwapta River. Looking north, the Endless Chain reflects nicely in the pool.
